Most of what we ship carries someone else’s name. Below is what you can change, and what the process looks like from the first drawing to the first container.
What can be customised
- Chip and frequency — the inlay, the protocol and the regional band.
- Material and enclosure — ABS, PC, potting, colour, finish.
- Size and form — a tooled body for a category that no catalogue part fits.
- Printing and encoding — logo, variable data, pre-encoding to your own numbering.
- Interface and protocol — RJ45, RS-232, Wiegand, GPIO, Wi-Fi, or a documented SDK.
- Packing — retail-ready cartons, your labels, your barcodes.
The process
- Brief — the use case, the volume, the market and the compliance requirement.
- Specification — a written spec and a drawing, with the open questions named.
- Sample — a physical unit for your own test, not a data sheet.
- Pilot — a small batch on your line or in your store, with the result written down.
- Production — the agreed batch, with the inspection criteria fixed before the first unit.
Lead time and minimum order depend on the tooling, the chip and the market certification. Send the brief and we will quote against it.
